10968542_847050295336546_8826189086436440504_nTia Marie, aka the Vixen Voyager, is a co-founder of the Sex Down South Conference.  She hails from Houston, TX and has been in Atlanta for over 13 years. By day she serves as a manager for Branded Entertainment and Integrated Media. And by night…a creature of creativity: stage-manager, voyeur, event planner, writer, lover and juicer of strange veggies. She’s been navigating through the cross sections of eroticism, sensuality and social limits for nearly 10 years. While she holds a B.A in Mass Communications, she learned mostly from her peers and through practical play in elevators, swingers clubs, sensuality workshops/events and training. She’s equally soft and attentive and plans to take on Atlanta’s erotic scene and share her escapades. Her quenchless desires include sex, food and the supernatural. You can contact her at

Roan Sarah Coughtry, MSW, is a healer, sex educator, and transqueer writer based out of Atlanta, GA. With roots originating from the rural farmlands of New York, they’ve lived in many different corners of the country and world, fostering a background in social justice organizing, alternative healing,  creative arts, and radical sex positivity along the way. After receiving their Masters in Social Work from Smith College in 2011, they co-founded an advocacy and support group for trans* and non-binary folks in Albany, NY. In 2013 they co-founded the Sexual Liberation Collective, a national group of sex workers, educators, and healers who provide education to communities. In addition to producing Sex Down South, they’re an organizer of the annual Southern Fried Queer Pride in Atlanta, and in 2015 they were invited to be on the advisory board of Project AFFIRM, an organization researching trans* resilience. They’re most inspired when they’re out in the community building bridges, facilitating conversations, and kindling the connection between creativity, spirituality, embodied practice, and liberation. You can find out more about their work at or contact them at srecoughtry (at) gmail (dot) com.
