Bio: Devi Ward is an internationally recognized Tantra and Female Sexuality Expert, Certified Tantric Healer, Certified Reiki Practitioner, Tibetan Tantric Dakini of the Shangpa Kagyu Lineage, and one of the first Westerners qualified to teach the Secret Tibetan Five Element Sexual Tantras, which stem from a 2,600 year old lineage of Tibetan Tantric Buddhism. She is an Author and Radio Host of Better Love and Sex with Devi Ward, airing live Thursdays at 7pm PST, on Contact Talk Radio.
Her personal journey from Stripper, to Monk, to Tantrika enables her to call upon her own experience of profound life transformation through Tantra and sexual healing. As a survivor of sexual abuse, Devi provides down-to-earth, experience-based insight into the areas of sacred sexuality, spirituality, Tantra, and sensual empowerment for women. She has had extensive training in Non-Violent Communication and has been facilitating Meditation and personal growth workshops since 2000.

Bio: Tristan Taormino® is an award-winning author, columnist, sex educator, speaker, radio host, and feminist pornographer. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Wesleyan University in 1993.
She is the author of eight books: 50 Shades of Kink: An Introduction to BDSM, Secrets of Great G-Spot Orgasms and Female Ejaculation, The Big Book of Sex Toys, The Anal Sex Position Guide, Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships, True Lust: Adventures in Sex, Porn and Perversion,Down and Dirty Sex Secrets, and two editions of The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women. She is a co-editor of The Feminist Porn Book: The Politics of Producing Pleasure, with Celine Parreñas Shimizu, Constance Penley and Mireille Miller-Young. She conceived and edited the groundbreaking collection The Ultimate Guide to Kink: BDSM, Role Play and the Erotic Edge which features the work of leading kink experts from around the country. She is the editor of 25 anthologies including Stripped Down: Lesbian Sex Stories and Take Me There: Trans and Genderqueer Erotica. She was the founding editor of the Lambda Literary Award-winning seriesBest Lesbian Erotica. Her books have sold over 500,000 copies and been translated into many languages. She’s written for a multitude of publications from Yale Journal of Law and Feminism to Penthouse, and served as editor of the feminist sex magazine On Our Backs. For nine and a half years, she wrote a bi-weekly column in The Village Voice, which was awarded two Sex-Positive Journalism Awards. She has written an advice column for Hustler’s Taboo Magazine since 1999. She is the producer and host of Sex Out Loud, the top rated show on the VoiceAmerica Talk Radio Network.
She runs her own adult film production company, Smart Ass Productions, and has directed and produced 25 adult films, including her multi-award winning debut film based on her book, The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women. Her documentary-style series Chemistry has won several Feminist Porn Awards, and Tristan was the first woman ever to win an AVN Award for Best Gonzo Movie for Chemistry, Volume 1. Tristan has taught hundreds of classes (on everything from negotiating relationships to female orgasms) at conferences, community events, and retail stores throughout the world. As a keynote and guest speaker at events, she’s spoken about community building, sexual liberation, and GLBT issues. She has given over 75 lectures and presentations at top colleges and universities all over North America (including Yale, Cornell, Princeton, Brown, Columbia, University of California-Santa Barbara, University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and NYU) on subjects ranging from erotic empowerment to challenging the social construction of monogamy. Tristan’s work, writing and films are routinely used in college courses to explore the complex issues of relationship and sexual diversity, politics and media.

Bio: Lee Harrington is an internationally known spiritual and erotic authenticity educator, gender explorer, eclectic artist and award-winning author and editor on human erotic and sacred experience. He is a nice guy with a disarmingly down to earth approach to the fact that we are each beautifully complex ecosystems, and we deserve to examine the human experience from that lens.
He began his career in alternative sexuality education as a peer safer sex educator in high school, and taught occasional kinky and polyamorous classes throughout the late nineties and through 2003, when he transitioned from his day career into working full time as a female (before his gender transition) adult film performer, sexuality educator, and photographer. His online journal about his sexual, sacred and personal exploits (founded in 1998) took on new twists and turns as he began writing for sexually themed magazines, modeling, providing professional domination services, and in general having tons of adventures along the way.
Since then, Lee has had the opportunity to teach in person within the BDSM, Swinger, Fetish and other alternate sexuality communities across the United States (40 states and counting), Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia. He has taught well over 650 classes to date (with more being set all the time) ranging in topics from effective speaking skills to erotic authenticity, rope bondage to safer magical sex, gender paradigms to dominant/submissive power exchange.

Bio: Dr. Ruth Neustifter is an author, university faculty member, and sexuality researcher that joins us from snowy Ontario, Canada. They are also proud to co-chair one of the largest and longest running annual professional sexuality conferences in Canada. Ruthie happily identifies as poly, kinky, sex-queer and gender-queer. Since the late 1990s Ruthie has specialized in sexual well-being and pleasure, as well as the resilience of survivors of intimate violence. They are the author of The Nice Girl’s Guide To Talking Dirty, as well as numerous academic publications and presentations. They have given workshops throughout North American as well as in Mexico and Europe in venues ranging from homeless shelters to universities to resorts. Dr. Ruthie considers themself an advocate for pleasure, intimacy, and sex-positivity regardless of one’s past history, gender, health, sexuality, or desires.

Bio: Dr. TaMara, a certified clinical sexologist, sex therapist, author, and speaker has more than 20 years experience speaking, writing and teaching about human sexuality across the country. She also has extensive experience working within the faith-based communities providing human sexuality education and HIV education. Dr. TaMara is also a repeat guest lecturer for the University of Michigan Flint, Let’s Talk About Sex UNV 100 Freshman course. Dr. Griffin also served as a sexuality consultant for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. She was the host of her own internet-based radio show.
A published author, Dr. TaMara has developed four successful curricula designed to empower women and youth with the skills and knowledge necessary to make safer and healthier decisions. Dr. TaMara also was the lead author on the country’s first faith based training manual for HIV/AIDS entitled: HIV/AIDS: A Manual for Faith Communities; which was endorsed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the National Coalition of Pastor’s Spouses. In April 2013, Dr. TaMara published the highly acclaimed personal growth book entitled: Live Inspired Feel Empowered (L.I.F.E.) She has also written two erotica poetry books: Love….The eXperience and Butterflies, Dandelions & Shard Glass. Dr. TaMara currently is the National Human Sexuality Examiner for the Examiner.com. She also is a freelance writer for many online magazines and social media websites. You may also find her published case study on the YOUR Blessed Health Project, An HIV Model for Faith Based Communities in the textbook Social Work in Health Settings.
Dr. TaMara has a Doctorate of Human Sexuality, Master of Social Work degree (University of Michigan), Master of Science degree in Education with a specialization in the Art of Teaching (Johns Hopkins University), and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family Life Education (Spring Arbor University). Dr. TaMara is certified in Clinical Sexology. She is also a holds several certificates including: Sex Therapy, Clinical Sexology, and Erotology; just to name a few. Dr. TaMara is a “Thought Leader and Expert for The Association of Black Sexologist and Clinicians. She is also an active member of the American College of Sexologist International.
